Inspired by architecture, mathematics and the love for black colour, Aleks Kurkowski designs high class men's and women's wear that combine straightlined avantgarde-design with the idea of sustainability.
Each collection lives through its geometrical shapes and unusual material mixes.
Aleks Kurkowski uses only natural materials as leather, wool, silk, cotton and linen which are produced on ecological and social aspects.
Born in Poland and raised in Germany the designer supports her both native countries by producing all garments there and by obtaining most of the materials from there.
Aleks Kurkowski wants to function as an example and show that contemporary design does not need to suppress nature or mankind.
